**Electrical Supervisor - Kent & Canterbury Hospital - NHS**

**Salary**: £37,100 per annum + on call allowance.

**Working hours**: 8am to 4pm. Monday to Friday - plus on-call 1 week in every 5.

**The Electrical Supervisor** is responsible for the repair, maintenance and management of all Electrical Services, along with the direct management of staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys working in a hands-on role in a fast-paced commercial environment.

**As the Electrical Supervisor you will be the lead electrician on site**, Providing supervision of Electrical subcontractors to ensure a high level of H&S and quality and conducting snagging of Electrical works to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To manage and control the Electrical Engineering team and various external contractors employed by the Trust.
- Raise computerised requests for maintenance works and allocating tasks to engineers accordingly
- To provide technical advice and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Executive and Department of Health guidelines at all times.
- To use the departments Computer Aided Facilities Management system (CAFM)
- Manage all issues related to electrical installations to ensure that the electrical systems
- Personal responsibility for ensuring team adherence to statutory policies on Health & Safety, Risk Management, Confidentiality and Data Protection.
- To produce daily progress reports, assess and write method statements, risk assessments, permits to work for Trust staff. To book in contractors on the Sky visitor contractor control system, reviewing submitted RAMS
- Experienced Electrician
- Have a working understanding of Complex electrical LV systems, HVAC systems, chillers, A/C, pumps, motors and heating, drainage, water systems, lifts, MGPS.
- Previous hands on team lead or management experience with electrical and/or mechanical engineers/technicians.
- Experience with, CWS systems, HVAC control systems, Pneumatic Systems and (ideally but not essential) steam plant & associate equipment.
