Happy Days Nurseries and Pre-schools offer the best quality childcare across the South West including Bristol, Bath, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire, and are seeking an HR Project Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis to support growth, acquisition, and payroll/HR project as well as support the payroll manager during peak times within the payroll calendar.

Based at our Support Centre in Summercourt, Newquay the role is full-time, 40 hours per week for a fixed-term contract of 12/15 months.

Responsibilities
- **HR: -**

Reporting to the Head of HR Projects on a day-to-day basis:

- To support the testing and future implementation of a Human Resource Information System (“HRIS”) software
- Data entry and migration from manual HR and Payroll data sources to the HRIS
- Collate and report HR statistics - such as starters, leavers, and turnover rates
- Provide administrative support regarding the consultation of contractual changes, such as TUPE, amendment of terms of employment, and termination - including note-taking in meetings and preparing letters and documents to facilitate the correct process.

**Payroll: -**
- Expected to be for 2 days per week in 2 weeks per month, complete the following whilst reporting to the Payroll Manager:

- Assist with payroll processing from timesheets and other source documentation
- Set up new starters accurately on the payroll information system
- Maintain records of, and generate reports on, absences (sickness, holidays etc.)
- Prepare statutory documentation such as P45s & P60s
- Manage and escalate inbound payroll queries
- Liaise with Nursery Managers regarding missing and/or inaccurate information and the timely completion of required tasks
- Prepare monthly summary payroll reports

**Knowledge & Skills: -**
- Competent in using one or more computerised payroll/HR systems and Microsoft Office software e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills, together with a methodical approach to work
- Accurate data entry and keen attention to detail
- Commitment to payroll deadlines, which must always be processed to a strict timetable
- Provide high service levels in dealing with payroll queries from staff
- Willing to learn to use any new systems implemented and amend working practices accordingly
