**The Role**

We are looking for a Talent/HR Officer to join our Talent Team. You will be an integral part of the Talent Department; this role is responsible for providing proactive support to the hotel team on all HR-related administration including in the areas of employee benefits, staffing, payroll, data management, human resources, and general administrative support.

We are looking for someone who has either had HR officer experience or comes from a strong administration background and looking for the first steps into HR. You will need to be a process-driven, confident communicator and experienced at working to deadlines.

You will report to the Director of Talent & Development.

**Key Responsibilities**
- First point of contact for all HR queries within the department, Talent inbox, and telephone calls
- Process monthly HR transaction work and reporting including onboarding workflows, documentation, Visa/ID checks, exit surveys, offboarding procedures and reference checking
- Assists with the processing and filing of HR documents, such as employment verification, curriculum vitae, starter forms, leaver forms, benefits enrolments
- Data entry as needed into Harri, general office management, and filing
- Maintain employee records regarding attendance, annual leave, absence, leavers, starters, and changes to personal details
- Administer family-friendly processes including maternity and paternity leave, producing template letters e.g. mortgage, references etc
- Assist with recruitment processes including, organising documents, telephone screening and reference checks of applicants, updating vacancy lists, and administrating a referral scheme.
- Note-taking and typing notes where required and support with disciplinary and grievances e.g. invite and outcome letters
- Verify and maintain all supporting documents for payroll and payroll-related transactions
- Manage orientation administration including ID cards, enrolling new starters as well as the leavers including P45s, Exit Interviews, Security exit process
- Collate and communicate all Company announcements e.g. birthdays, new starters, promotions
- Oversee Star of the Month/Year programme
- Maintain associate contact list and other necessary databases
- Ensure all right to work data is accurate, up to date and compliant
- Projects as assigned by the members of the Human Resources Department
- Assist with errands and tasks as directed by senior members of the team

**Job Requirements**
- Self-motivated, able to take initiative, and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making
- Professional, courteous, reliable, and mature, with outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Able to interact with all levels of staff, and external suppliers with tact and diplomacy
- Flexible and able to work with others as a team
- Punctual and reliable in work attendance going above and bey
