**Hours : Self employed -hourly**
**Shift Timings **: 2 :1 shift
**Split shifts Weekdays**
**6am to 10am (8am to 10am school run x1)**
**2.00pm to 8pm ** **(2pm to 4pm school run x1)**
**Weekend and holidays**
**8am to 8pm**
**Job Summary**:Client: Our male client** acquired a brain injury and requires Support Worker to provide support with his rehabilitation goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Client Care:
- Provide direct care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Travel to clients' homes or designated locations to provide care.
- Adapt quickly to different care environments and client preferences.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide updates on clients' conditions and report any changes promptly.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
- Complete documentation in accordance with established protocols.
- Compassionate Support:
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment for clients.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**Essential Skills**:
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in health and social care
Valid full UK Driving license
Willingness to do personal care & Hydro therapy ( Training provided )
Basic understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good IT skills
Ability to work in the client’s home
Ability to liaise with healthcare professionals daily
Ability to take a person-centred approach
Experience in medication administration, personal care, and manual handling
Willingness to learn and the ability to take on feedback
Ability to think outside the box
**Desirable Skills**:
Experience of providing care to people living in the community
Participate in Support Worker meeting
Participate in person centred training
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
