As a Buyer you will interface with suppliers, internal project teams to understand and support the implementation of corporate Procurement processes (Strategic Supplier Management, Sub-Contract Management, and Commodity Management) as appropriate to yourassigned area of responsibility.

**Description**
- Receiving requisitions and demands, negotiate with suppliers, and process Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Amendments and/or Purchase Agreements in accordance with Procurement processes and procedures, and the requirements of the business.
- Negotiating Terms and Conditions, Price Agreements and other contractual documents with suppliers, and resolve most areas of conflict.
- Maintaining strong, effective relationships with suppliers that are capable of withstanding set-backs, and be able to resolve relationship and performance issues.
- Understand the budget requirements for the Purchase Orders you are responsible for, and support achievement of these requirements, as well as identify opportunities for cost reduction/avoidance through effective negotiation with suppliers.
- Understanding and communicating key performance indicators for the suppliers you are responsible for and be able to engage with and address issues at a senior level within the supplier organisation.
- Maintaining Supplier open order books and ensure that correct and current data is maintained in the ERP system.
- Process supplier returns, ensuring these are actioned in a timely manner
- Coaching and Training junior members of staff on Procurement processes and procedures and support audits of these, including supporting the implementation of improvement plans
- Acting as an independent interface between suppliers and the business, demonstrating effective relationship management skills
- Supporting other members of the Procurement Team as required in your daily responsibilities

**Profile**
- Buying / Procurement / Purchasing Background
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle
- Ability to take a lead in negotiations and Supplier Relationship Management
- You could be a Graduate with a desire to develop your career in Procurement and Supply Chain
