**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of sites for construction by clearing debris and vegetation.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely, including diggers and compactors.
- Lay foundations, including concrete and paving slabs, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance during installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on site.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in groundwork or construction is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to operate basic machinery and tools safely; training will be provided as necessary.
- Strong physical fitness as the role involves manual labour and lifting heavy materials.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- A commitment to adhering to health and safety standards on site.

Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
