**Gas Installations Engineer** Crawley £35,140 plus excellent benefits **About The Role** We’re looking for a Gas Engineer to join the AO team in Crawley and create a 5-star customer experience with every installation. We make 5 million deliveries a year and we’re known for our outstanding customer service. This is a great opportunity to enjoylife on the road, meet lots of new people each day and bring a smile to our customers’ faces We can offer you - 4 on 4 off shift pattern to support a great work-life balance - 12-hour shifts between 6am-6pm - Competitive salary with potential to earn extra with on-call and overtime available - You’ll get to keep your gas card too so you can continue working for yourself - We’ll even kit you out with all the tools you’ll need to do the job; that’s up to £3k worth of gear. **Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing** No two days are going to be the same as a Gas Installations Engineer with AO, but a typical day will include - installing a variety of gas, electrical and domestic appliances - making sure safety is front and centre and always adhering to industry guidelines - delivering top-notch customer service - upholding Safe Systems of Work (SSWs) practices - driving a 3.5T vehicle - physically moving items weighing up to 150kg as part of a team of two **A Few Things About You** We’ll need you to have your CCN1 & CKR1 and previous experience installing gas appliances as well as the following: - Full UK/EU driving licence (no more than 6 points) - CCN1 & CKR1 qualifications - Over the age of 21 (for insurance purposes) - At least 1 year of experience within gas installations Some experience of installation of electrical appliances would be a bonus, but we'll train you to be electrically competent and gain additional qualifications - LPG, CENWAT. **Our Benefits** We’ve designed our benefits to cover everything from big moments to little helps.
