To undertake as directed, phlebotomies duties throughout the trust. This will involve routinely handling biological samples and it is therefore essential that he/she is aware of the departmental safety policies which must be observed at all times.

The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a blood sample collection service to the wards and outpatient. The post holder will be required to perform a range of phlebotomy / venepuncture techniques in a variety of clinical settings and will work without direct supervision.

The person requires to work 15 hrs/week ( Thursday and Friday). You will also be required to cover Weekends (Saturday (7 -3) and Sunday (9-5)) /Bank Holidays as per Rota.
