Moray House School of Education and Sport (MHSES) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual with great relationship management and communications skills to build and deepen relationships with alumni, fostering a sense of pride, community and belonging, to increase alumni participation in the life and work of the School.

**The Opportunity**:
The post holder will plan and execute an alumni engagement and communications strategy. They will deliver activities, events, and communications campaigns to build and deepen relationships with alumni and encourage connections amongst the alumni community, and between alumni and current and prospective students. They will work within the School Marketing and Communications team but liaise with students, staff and alumni across our School community, and the University of Edinburgh Development and Alumni department.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Experience in alumni relations or relevant experience within a membership, communications or customer relationship management context.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience of contributing to the development of strategic plans and of organising and delivering events and communications within a wider strategic framework.
- Significant stakeholder relationship management experience with outstanding interpersonal communications skills.
- Positive and proactive self-starter with the desire and skills to work flexibly both as part of a team and also autonomously.
- A firm belief in the transformative power of education and a passion for the role alumni relations has in higher education
