**Job Summary: Kitchen Staff**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, including the proper handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
- Handle basic cooking tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and preparing ingredients, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, following food hygiene and sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, reporting shortages, and ensuring supplies are replenished when necessary.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and cleaning of all tools and machines.
- Support the overall kitchen workflow, from receiving and storing deliveries to maintaining the kitchen’s cleanliness throughout service.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with chefs and other kitchen staff.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm and a passion for food are key.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £9.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Time management: 1 year (preferred)
