**Credit Controller | Computer Manufacture** **Permanent** **Up to £27,000 + benefits** **Warrington | Full time | Flexi Hours** This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fast paced organisation. As an experienced Credit Controller, you will join the Credit team. You will be a self-starter able to prioritise your own work whilst meeting deadlines in what is a fast-paced andbusy environment. A team player with a strong can-do attitude is critical operating with tenacity and positivity. Attention to detail is a given with excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident and proficient on excel with ideally the abilityto use Vlook ups and pivot tables. **Your key responsibilities include the following;** - Cover cash posting and order release functions - Take card payments over the phone and / or online - Opening of accounts on both Sage & X3 - Using our CRM to add debt notes, log cases and run report - Cover Raising manual / consolidated invoices on Retail accounts - Monitoring and cautioning a busy accounts receivable inbox - Log Cases in CRM and Resolve customer queries and raise any relevant credit notes - Work with Credit Insurers to ensure risk on debt is minimised - Understand & support the Invoice Financing processes - Close & reconcile the sales ledger accounts in both Sage & X3 - Determine Customer credit limits & ensure debt compliance on reporting possible bad debt claims to insurance provider. - Ensure customer payment processes are understood & actioned for prompt payment & discrepancy resolution. - Resolve or escalate customer disputes internally within VIP. - Review & report aged debt & provide clear actions - Verify & action non returns credit notes & debit notes. - Completion of customer statement reconciliations - Ensure "Best Practice" in all credit control processes. - Support the month end process **Key skills required**: - Minimum 2 years Credit Control experience - Experienced working in a similar environment of pace - Intermediate Excel skills (VLookups, Pivot tables) - Experience of using ERP systems - Understand financial statements to determine credit risk - Experience of credit reports, Credit safe, Dunn & Bradstreet, Experian etc. - Excellent communication skills - Able to work to tight deadlines - Team player and enjoy being part of a commercial business
