WHAT WE OFFER
- £10.10 basic hourly rate

Kitchen 30 hours 5 days out of 7, alternate weekends - must have experience

Kitchen 24 hours 5 days out of 7, 3 out of 4 weekends - must have experience

Kitchen 12 hours 3 days out of 7, 3 out of 4 weekends, evenings & weekends experience preferred

Bistro & Restaurant 30 hours 5 days out of 7, alternate weekends

Restaurant 24 hours 5 days out of 7, 3 out of 4 weekends

Bistro & Restaurant 16 hours 4 days out of 7, 3 out of 4 weekends, evenings & weekends

Bistro & Restaurant 12 hours 3 days out of 7, 3 out of 4 weekends, evenings & weekends

Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, we provide options for working weekend only contracts or evening and weekend only contracts with required availability to work until 11.00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you know your meat ball from your plant ball? If so, then we are looking for you.

We are looking for someone like you to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset.

We are looking for someone who loves working together with your fellow co-workers, looking at things differently & always want to improve. You are down to earth, you lead by example & take responsibility & inspire both the customer & other co-workers. The customer is always in focus, you strive to make them smile, taking time to seek and listen to feedback.

This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.

IKEA Food is a fast-paced environment and every day is filled with the opportunity to deliver a great value and quality food experience for the many. Within IKEA Food we have various roles which include:

- Kitchen - food preparation, cooking and serving our customers their firm favourites
- Restaurant - working on the floor and tills, serving in our staff Restaurant and also our 'FIKA' coffee bar.
- Swedish Food Market/Bistro - where you will serve our famous hotdogs, replenish stock, operate a till and engage with customers

IKEA food is a big department with various roles, we can discuss your preferred working area in the interview
