**We currently have vacancies for Production Operatives within our Finishing Department - career progression available**

**Production Operative Responsibilities**:
- Assisting Machine Minder with the smooth running of the machine
- Producing premium quality cartons whilst ensuring high standards are maintained
- General housekeeping of the machine and production area to ensure a clean working space
- Quality checking cartons during a variety of procedures
- Completing paperwork
- Interpreting facts and figures to optimise the efficiency of the department
- Reporting figures and information to Minders
**Production Assistant Requirements**:
- Good problem solving skills;
- The ability to work well with the operator and alone as required;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- An interest in new technologies;
- Enthusiasm and determination;
- A polite, friendly and positive manner;
- Good initiative and adaptability in a dynamic department;
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability;
- A good eye for detail;
- Willing to learn;
- Basic computer skills;
- Ability to communicate with management;
- Genuine desire to progress and start a career within the print industry.
Experience within the print industry or in production role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. This is a full time role of 40 hours over a 4 day week (Monday - Friday)
