**Job Description Estimator/ Planner**

Main purpose and Scope

To prepare and produce quotations on the instruction of Sales or Technical Departments calculated from standard drawings and any additional information provided; on receipt of order the Estimator will produce planning documentation and generate Epicor route cards for manufacturing, the Estimator will also ensure a BOM is generated for the procurement of raw materials, and to propose subcontract operations identifying any testing, tooling, Jigs/fixture requirements in advance. Process design and development will also form a large part of the Estimators role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of budget, ROM, and fixed cost estimates
- Production of Epicor route card documentation.
- Obtaining subcontractor costs and quotes
- Generation of BOM for the procurement of raw materials.
- Document Control
- Process design & improving efficiencies

Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of Epicor or ERP systems
- Confident in reading and interpreting DWG
- Estimating experience
- Manufacturing/ Engineering background preferred
- Proficient in all Microsoft programmes
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proven administration skills with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Estimating: 2 years (preferred)
