Behaviour Teaching Assistant

This role does not include personal care

Pay is around £400 a week (£70-£80 a day DOE), working from the hours of 8:30 to 15:30 with possible paid extra hours for training throughout the year.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring students are engaged and are behaving appropriately in the lesson
- Assisting the class teacher
- Responsible for being a mentor and listening ear for students during times of stress and anxiety
- Work 1:1 and in groups with the students

This role may make you feel out of your comfort zone, but these students need support more than ever with the result of the pandemic impacting their social and emotional skills, and the pressures of school and their learning needs affecting their mentalhealth.
