We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the operator team of our Anaerobic Digestion plant.

This is a hands-on and varied role, working within an operational biogas plant undertaking tasks including machinery operation, feedstock management, assisting with maintenance, administration and general upkeep.

**JOB DESCRIPTION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Daily responsibilities will include maintenance checks, feeding of the digester, feedstock management, record keeping and also;
- Monitoring the plant control system and responding accordingly. This will include remote monitoring.
- Operation and maintenance of the site weighbridge,
- Basic feedstock sampling and testing,
- Health & Safety implementation and compliance.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Able to work independently when required,
- Basic maintenance/mechanic skills,
- Good communicator,
- Punctual record keeping,
- Ability to plan and prioritise complex and varied tasks,
- Flexibility to work on call, on a rota system,
- Experience of operating machinery including a telehandler and forklift,
- A good working knowledge of Health & Safety,
- A good, basic understanding of AD/Biogas/Feedstock would be advantageous.

Experience of working in the AD sector is not necessary as full training will be given.

**Salary**: Dependable on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
