Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Jiffy Truck operative / Catering Assistant to join our team working at Caterpillar Peterlee SR8 2HX

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers from our small Jiffy Truck and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

**What we offer**:
This is a part time time position, 20 hours per week, Working Monday to Friday 10.00 - 14.00, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within hospitality
The hourly rate is £12.21.

**A day in the life of a Catering Assistant**:
Delivering food to customer using our onsite jiffy van.
Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are providing excellent customer service at all times.
Stocking up and putting away deliveries
General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

**You’ll be set up for success if you have**:
Must hold a driving license.
Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
