**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support their development.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all children.
- Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Leadership qualities are advantageous for those looking to take on additional responsibilities within the nursery team.
- A genuine passion for working with children and the ability to manage diverse needs within a nursery setting is crucial.
