Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Provision - 'Outstanding' Secondary school Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a 'outstanding' secondary school in Preston (PR2). The school have a variety of children who have Mild Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities and Autism. The school caters forpupils aged 11-16 and provides specialist support to help them to thrive in a excellent school. The school are looking to recruit an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their school. **The role will include: - Supporting the class teacher to engage the pupils and support their learning - Provide small group intervention - Facilitate “break out” lessons so all pupils receive additional support - Support children with SEND throughout the school day - Help to differenciate work to make it more accessible The school ensures that the children get the highest quality of care as it has access to a range of specialist facilities - "Quality is always top of our agenda and we pride ourselves on the quality of what we do. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who can work with individual and small groups of children, preparing classrooms and materials, and building positive relationshipswith pupils to promote interaction and learning. Our Teaching Assistants offer essential support to our Teachers and have the opportunity to assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting."_ **Additional information: - Team teach trained is preferred but not essential. - The working hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm. - The pay for this role is from £10.77 per hour but could be higher depending on experience.
