Premier Engineering has engaged with a new client and an established leader Stamping, Laser Fabrication & Welding services to Automotive, Aerospace & Defence sectors. 2 opportunities have arisen for a **Project Engineer** & **Estimator**, we are highly considering an engineer with both experiences for a dual role.
Project Engineer role available for a market leading, expanding company based in the West Midlands. This role will appeal to Project Engineers looking for a forward-thinking company who regularly invest. This is a varied role where you can add value to theCompany’s growth.
Reporting to the Technical Engineering Manager, the successful person will be performing a range of tasks to ensure that the company’s projects are delivered on time & within budget whilst not compromising on quality. Taking product designs from concept todelivery you will be responsible for delivering the designs to the manufacturing department ensuring each product meets the quality, commercial and production standards. This includes all associated Tooling, fixtures, gauges & any special purpose machinery.You will also be responsible for consolidating all the necessary documentation for the APQP pack. In due course you will be expected to travel widely both in the UK & China to successfully manage & buy-off Press Tooling.
The Role:

- Cradle to Grave Project Engineering.
- Inter departmental, supplier & customer Liaison.
- Final product quality inspection.
- Participating in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Support and lead process improvement activities.
- Tooling management.
The Person required:

- Press Tool knowledge highly desirable.
- HNC preferable.
- Process focussed.
25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Comprehensive Training + Potential Career Progression.
35 Hours per week Monday to Friday.
