Domestic Cleaner

Woodlands Care Home support up to 51 residents with varying needs, as well as supporting different stages of dementia care. We are looking for a caring and hard working person to join our team **domestic team for** **24 hours a week**. We are situated directly across from the railway station allowing for easy commuting for our staff.

**Reports to**: Manager

**Job Overview**:

- To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practice

**The Domestic/Cleaner responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
- Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards
- Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
- Ensure the service users’ rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
- Assist in the effective daily running of the service, this may require, on occasion, to work in other areas within the home, outside of your normal job role.
