**The Copthorne Hotel Newcastle** is seeking a **Food & Beverage Assistant - **variety of hours and shifts available

**Food & Beverage Assistant responsibilities include**:

- Providing food and beverage service in the Bar, Restaurant and Meeting & Events
- Dealing with guest requests
- General cleaning duties
- Setting conference rooms, moving furniture and equipment
- Carrying out a variety of tasks, depending on guest requirements

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience of Food & Beverage and/or Meetings & Events service
- High customer service focus
- Good communication skills
- Pleasant mannerism and positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- High standards and attention to detail
- Flexibility to carry out a variety of tasks
- Ability to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis, weekend work is included

**About the Hotel**:
Situated on the iconic Newcastle Quayside overlooking the famous River Tyne, the Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is perfect for both the business and leisure traveller. The hotel provides modern guest rooms which combine Standard, Club and Suite accommodation all of which have picturesque riverside views.

Dining facilities at the hotel include The Quay 7 Restaurant which offers an à la carte menu with a variety of seasonal dishes. The Quay 7 bar and outdoor terrace offer an extensive wine list and selection of beers and spirits, along with a variety of hot beverages.
