**We are looking for a fantastic Service Manager for a lovely Supported living service in Ixworth. This could be the perfect role for you**
**The Company**
Nurse Seekers are currently working on behalf of a reputable Housing Association who operate approximately 4,000 properties throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge and Essex.
They now provide care, support, housing management, property development and estate services and have been awarded the Sunday Times Top 100 employer for their current 700 members of staff and volunteers.
**The Service**
The service in Ixworth provides specialist housing, care and support services for older persons, those at risk of homelessness, women and children fleeing domestic abuse and people with learning disabilities within self-contained and serviced apartments.
**The Role**
As a service manager for our client you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and effective management of the service You will be leading a team in achieving and improving wherever possible, adhering to company policies at all timesand ensuring the continued delivery of the highest quality care.
**_The main duties include but are not limited to:_**
- Ensure compliance with best practice, legislation, company policies, Safeguarding frameworks and CQC regulations
- Monitor the commercial performance of the service and ensure the service operatives effectively within agreed budgetary parameters
- Ensure the highest quality person-centred care is delivered and ensure the care team receive specified training
- Ensure that all statutory safeguarding regulations are adhered to
Our client is looking for someone who can effectively multi task and handle pressure whenever required. Along with this, you should be able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and identify important and urgent tasks.
**_Desired Experience_**
- Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care
- Proven experience of CQC inspections and managing a similar service
- Proven working knowledge of risk and needs management and safeguarding legislation and good practice
- Knowledge of health and social care legislation
- Knowledge of dementia care, end of life care and older person care
