The Supply Register are working on an exclusive basis with a number of Secondary Academy’s in Nottinghamshire. I am recruiting for a number of Cover Supervisors who would be interested in working on a day to day supply basis to join our existing bank staffteam.

**What does the role consist of?**

This role would be ideal for anyone who has experienced working as a Cover Supervisor, or has worked with young people previously. The role of a Cover Supervisor is an excellent stepping stone for anyone who would like to consider a career in teaching orwould like to work at different Schools flexibly.

All lessons would be planned for you but you would be expected to have excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people.

As a Cover Supervisor,you will go into Secondary Schools and cover lessons which have work fully set and planned ready for your arrival. The role of a Cover Supervisor is to support a mixture of classes during the absence of the regular class teacher.

You will always be given the materials needed & will be responsible for ensuring that the students complete the work set for them.

As a Cover Supervisor you will gain a lot of experience in other aspects of education you may be interested in - such as working with smaller intervention groups to support children who may be behind academically, working with SEN children or coaching inschools.

**What do I need to do this role?**

*GCSE Maths & English

*Confidence to deliver planned lessons to students

*Any experience with young people or children would be ideal but not essential

*Drive to succeed and gain the experience

*Ability to manage behaviour & set expectations

**What can I expect when fully registered with The Supply Register as a Cover Supervisor?**

Our Cover Supervisors are in demand & you can expect to return to the same Secondary Schools within the Redhill Academy Trust.

If you get on well at one particular School, you will find that you are requested back and this often also results in obtaining long term work at one School.

You will have the flexibility to let us know when you are available. If you are available, you can expect advance bookings as well as morning calls, so it is important to be ready if you have let us know that you are available.

If you are unavailable, we will not bother you - lots of our current Cover Supervisors love this flexibility
