SEN Teacher - Newbury - Immediate start - Alternative provision

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a role with a large SEMH school?

Tempest Resourcing are currently assisting a large alternative provision located in Newbury. The school in questions caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues and associated challenging behaviours aged from 5-18. Located across 5sites in and around Newbury driving is a must due to the rural nature of some of the sites. At capacity the school has space for 66 pupils and class sizes are always small (4-7) with a teacher and a number of TA’s/LSA’s within each class, in addition to thispastoral support and various therapists are on hand.

They are looking to employ an experienced SEN teacher for their year 7-8 site, you must have experience working with social, emotional and mental health needs or LAC in addition to having excellent behaviour management and the ability to adapt teaching tovarious ability levels.

To be considered for these positions you must display the following:

- Experience working with SEN - SEMH in particular
- Knowledge of SEN curriculum
- Understanding of LAC/SEMH
