**JOB SUMMARY**:
To provide continuing responsibility for the management and leadership of a dedicated Plastics and Breast surgical services by effective utilization of staff, resources and operating sessions

To co-ordinate and be accountable for the day-to-day management of the Scrub deputy team leaders, theatre practitioners and Healthcare Assistants

To ensure that a high quality service is delivered within the budget. To be accountable for the management of all resources within Theatres in conjunction with the Theatre Operations Manager and the Theatre Matron.

Rotate as Theatre Coordinator and liaise with the Theatre Matron over requirements of the service and Be responsible for the supervision, development and appraisal of scrub deputy team leader, theatre practitioners and HCA’s within own service.

To work a rostered one day management and three day clinical pattern of work (4 days per week)

Be responsible for the reporting of incidents and audit following local policies

To act as the Theatre Coordinator as required, being accountable for the day to day running of the theatre

Participate in the on-call and week end cover
