**Job Title**: School Cleaner on a Temp to Perm contract

**Location**: Edinburgh, EH15

**Hours of Work**: 10 - 25 hrs per week
**Working Pattern**: Monday to Friday, 6am - 8am OR 4pm - 9pm

**Overview**:
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and toilet facilities to a high standard.
- Ensure all areas are maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Site Supervisor or Business Manager.

**Person Specification**:

- Previous cleaning experience (essential).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent awareness of health and safety procedures in a cleaning environment.
- Must be able to pass full vetting checks in line with safeguarding requirements.
- Applicants must have no criminal convictions.

**Additional Information**:
Full vetting and background checks will be undertaken, including an enhanced DBS check, prior to appointment.
