**Job Title: Production General Assistant**

**Full Time Permanent position**

We are currently seeking to recruit a General Assistant for our Daventry site. Reporting to the Logistics Manager/Shift Manger, the job holder will have responsibility for packing all rewound labels and preparing them for despatch and helping SMED with preparation for press changeovers.
- This is what you’ll be doing: _
- Daily delivery of the SMED teams’ goals in terms of press changeovers.
- Working in accordance with a safe environment and individual support for the site safety objectives.
- The timely and cost-conscious delivery of the print plan and an acute awareness of the role the SMED team plays in it.
- Support the SMED Supervisors improvement drive by reducing change-over times in an agreed structured manner.
- Support and react to appropriate KPI’s as a team member.
- Packing boxes from radius system
- Inspect rewound product quality standards
- Pack product according to specific customer requirements
- Achieve 100% specified checks as required
- Maintain all paperwork as required
- Ensure all handovers to incoming shifts passed over
- Follow SOP’s (paperwork)
