Technical Records Supervisor Aviation

Shorterm Group has an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Technical Records Supervisor to join a fantastic team on a permanent basis in Farnborough?
The Technical Records Supervisor will be responsible for leading the team and prioritizing workload recording and preserving the integrity of customer technical records produced, provided and administered between the business and the customer in relation toPart 145 activities.
Key responsibilities:
*Review of historical Aircraft Documentation for completeness, and providing guidance on acceptability for intended use.
*Satisfying customer and Lessor generated queries, closing any issues within an agreed timescale.
*Support the day-to-day documentation tasks. These include, but are not limited to Off and On logs, Manuals, Back-To-Birth (BTB) / Movement Traceability Sheets (MTS) / company Stock Life history reports, Customer investigations and Swap approvals.
*Work as part of the Technical Services Department reporting to the Production Planning Manager
*Fulfil the requirements of 145.A.55 with respect to maintenance records, ensuring that the records are secure and easily retrievable with comprehensive and legible contents
*Ensure that the update, security and integrity of technical records is completed and dispatched to the Customer in a timely manner as defined by the customer and / or legislative requirements
*Assist the Management by providing daily/monthly management reports and KPIs as required
*Deliver specific projects as defined by the TMS Management
*Carry out problem solving regarding records and tracking anomalies
*Responsible for the update and administration of Electronic Data systems
*Liaise with customers (internal and external) regarding aircraft records / documentation
*Responsible for any logbook record statements as required
*Responsible for work pack creation for maintenance and AOG's as required
*Support the implementation of new IT systems
*Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to constantly look for efficiency improvements.
*Support production planning as required to meet process deadlines
*Attend meetings as required
*Maintain the work roster for department
*Complete team performance reviews
*Coordinate training and development for team
*Lead projects relating to tech records process / system changes
*Liase with CSMs and Quotes team as focal for workpack management
*Develop departmental KPIs and Measures and feedback to Management team
*Act as first level line management for tech records team.
**Experience**:
- Previous Document Control and Technical Records experience
- Experience of team leadership
- Workload planning / prioritization
- Able to read and write in fluent technical English
Qualities & Knowledge:
*Attention to detail and meticulous in all maintenance records/documentation
*A clear focus on safety and high quality
*good problem-solving ability
*Knowledge of Part 145 and any other relevant regulations beneficial
*Self-starting and requiring mínimal supervision
*Ability to understand relevant parts of company procedures
*Ability to control completed work cards
*Ability to prioritise tasks and report discrepancies
*Confident in working with team and senior management / external agencies
