**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES**

As a regulatory affairs technologist, you will work within the UK Regulatory and Trading law team to provide expert regulatory and trading law advice to clients globally
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Gather review and approve labelling/specifications /packaging of raw materials, finished products or recipes for a full range on food and non food consumer products. Translate when required utilizing third party or local resource
- Proactively manage Regulatory and Trading law programmes for clients to include menu and marketing material approvals
- Provide Regulatory and Trading law advice to internal and external clients
- Complete legal verification of labels / products in line with customer/market requirements.
- Support the wider team on other regulatory activities e.g. product Traceability exercises
- Lead and support consultancy projects in relation to Regulatory and Trading law
- Develop and deliver webinars/ presentations and Training in regulatory and Trading law to internal and external clients
- Support various horizon scanning programmes ensuring emerging issues across the food safety and regulatory landscape are identified and presented to clients

**Qualifications**:
**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in trading law, food science or related discipline
- Knowledge and experience of import/export regulation for food in the EU and internationally
- Knowledge of age restricted sales, cosmetics, feeding stuffs, pet food, toys and product safety, and tobacco
- Experience of dealing with non-food consumer products
- Experience of working with proprietary specification systems, project management software, excel and other Microsoft products.
- Passionate and motivated by the wide array of food and nutritional aspects (compliance, quality, regulatory, labelling activities).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact easily with clients and team members.
- Flexibility to travel and work from several locations (NSF sites, customer site) in combination with home working.
- Full Clean Driving License
