We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Underwriter to join our established and experienced Underwriting team. Although we are offering hybrid working out of our Manchester office this role covers our North East Brokers and therefore will require weekly travel to Leeds.

**Your Role**

You will spend most of your time working with your selected brokers identifying, discussing, negotiating and converting new and existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decision. As the Commercial Underwriter, you will be handling cases in the region of £15K - £100K.

**About You**

To be successful in the role of Commercial Underwriter, you will require experience of underwriting Property, Liability and Packages business. You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
