Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to join our fantastic Durham Team.

We are looking to hire a driver to drive the company vehicle, to transport Housekeepers and Linens to their tasks and properties, additional Housekeeping duties are also given to help clean and look after our portfolio of properties.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

To work with us, ideally, we'd need you to be available on our main changeover days, which are Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please note, Saturdays are rotated amongst the Team Members, to offer great flexibility.

If you have an energetic can do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. You need to be friendly, flexible and always willing to help.

Attention to detail and a reliable approach is a must

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Head Housekeeper with the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of housekeeping on a daily basis.
- Use the company vehicle to transport Housekeeping Staff and linens to their required locations.
- Be flexible to perform Ad Hoc duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to meet the needs of the business, this includes, but not exclusive, to Housekeeping Duties or Property Checks.
- Review property stock levels and order supplies.
- Ensure procedures, systems and checks are completed to ensure the high standards expected are being met daily.
- Supervise the work of the housekeeping and warehouse team to ensure the high standards we set are maintained.
- Respond appropriately to remedy any customer request or query that may occur in a way that is acceptable for the particular situation.

**Housekeeping duties**:

- Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests. This includes but is not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying etc.
- The changing of linen between guests.
- Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
- Stock control of household basics/essentials.
- Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
- Securing the property
- As well as the main duties, the role will also include overlooking and managing the finer details unique to each property.

For the right person, additional responsibilities may be offered as the business grows.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
