We are looking for a **Tutor (English for Academic Purposes)** to join our team.

UoLIC has been set up in partnership with the University of Liverpool to provide new routes for international students wishing to study degrees at the University. Located on the University campus, the college delivers undergraduate Foundation, Pre-Master’s and Extended English Skills programmes and a range of other support and extracurricular services.

**What you’ll bring to the role**

To succeed in the role, you will enjoy working with international students, be customer orientated and performance driven and possess:

- previous teaching experience in one of the relevant areas of expertise or a related area within a UK higher education context
- ability to develop and update teaching material and preferably experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment
- strong record-keeping skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines
- enthusiasm and motivation to be a performance-driven team player.

Also desirable would be a Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education, or currently undertaking a relevant course to obtain such a certificate
