Dog Walker

A Taylor's Pets Dog Walker will take out dogs for a one hour or half an hour group walk while their owners are at work or are unable to walk their own dog. Your role would be to pick up the dogs from their home and take them safely in your vehicle to a park/field and walk them for the time specified on your diary. You will walk 1-6 (can be discussed) dogs at a time of all breeds. You will get a bond with the dogs as well as some clients. You will be key holders for their homes and will be responsible for looking after their keys with a lot of care.

**What are my working hours?**

DOG WALKER - MON - FRI.. Dogs have set times that they are walked and will be walked at those times. There are morning walks, lunchtime walks and afternoon walks.

Duties and Responsibilities: All Taylor's Pets staff will need to:

- Have access to the internet to access our unique on-line scheduling system where they have their own personal on-line diary.

All diaries update in real time which means that as soon as we receive a cancellation or a booking, the diaries reflect these changes immediately.

Staff diaries also show our staff members what they will earn on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
All information in respect of the pets you are looking after is also available from the on-line scheduling system.
- To be available, Monday to Friday and over the weekends. Weekends are for Pet Carers or for emergency dog walking
- Need to be CRB checked
- Need to have a huge passion for all animals.
- Need to have good attention to detail, and to be able to follow full instructions
- Be very clean and tidy in clients homes, always keeping them looking nice
- Be able to take constructive criticism

**How much can I earn as a Dog Walker?**

As a member of the Taylor's team you typically earn around £200-500.00 a month.
We **DO NOT** pay an hourly rate. Our rate is paid per visit and per dog on a walk. The more you work the more you earn.
Work can vary month - month with the amount of visits you have.
Visits usually last 20 minutes. Walks are 60 minutes or 30 minutes.

**Travel**
You must own your own car and be able to safely transport dogs around in it. Also, a full clean UK driving licence.

The amount of travelling for dogs and pet visits will be discussed on interview, but you are expected to travel a certain distance.
