The post holder will provide day to day support to the Head of IT Programmes and Projects (P&P) and all members of the team including Project Managers and the Digital Nursing team.

They will undertake project support and assurance tasks including maintaining formal project documentation, governance arrangements, reporting and work across all other aspects of project delivery.

The role encompasses a broader remit than administration and the position holder will be expected to obtain an in-depth knowledge of all projects, take a lead role in coordinating resources and completing project deliverables.

Key Tasks, skills and characteristics required
1. Provide high quality project administration to the Head of P&P and their direct reports by ensuring all reporting requirements, project artefacts, and presentations are centrally coordinated, managed and updated to the highest of standards at all times.
2. Provide support to the Project Managers and Lead Digital Nurse in Board meetings, Implementation Groups and team sessions undertaking the full range of administrative duties to ensure that they function effectively.
3. Liaise with Programme and Project Managers to coordinate resources and support project delivery activities such as training, floor walking, account creation and generating project documentation such as training materials and registers
4. Lead and Manage benefits realisation across all projects. Propose and implement systems, processes and procedures to deliver consistent approaches to gathering baseline data, record keeping and ongoing maintenance of registers to ensure central coordination of all benefits realisation activities
5. Responsible for ensuring Projects are tracking and recording expenditure and stock control
6. Responsible for supporting Project delivery activities via the use of complex Excel sheets including pivot tables for record keeping including training, stock/device forecast modelling, users and other project needs as identified.

Communication
- Maintaining high quality of the P&P Portfolio archetypes through consistent written and verbal communications
- Support verbal communication by providing written educational material to healthcare professional to ensure understanding.
- To be the primary point of contact and act as front-line communicator on behalf of the Programme Manager/ Programme Team including creating draft non-standard responses for replies to correspondence.

To receive, interpret and re-provide complex information to non-IT expert Trust staff members in an accessible and highly professional manner.
- To receive, screen and make telephone calls on behalf of the Programme Manager/Programme Team. This will include dealing with general enquiries from staff members and external organisations and resolving enquiries when possible, taking messages or redirecting calls as appropriate and ensuring that adequate and timely action is taken.
- To receive visitors in a friendly manner with tact and discretion when necessary.
