**About the role**:

- The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training.
- You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have.
- Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to long term employment
- Once completed you will be qualified as a teaching assistant and will be able to work in primary schools across London with Smart Teachers

**About the school** Placement schools located across Croydon, including Thornton Heath, Selhurst, Norbury and Addiscombe.

Schools have good transport links and many schools have parking available.

**Requirements** To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant - Croydon you will:

- Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- Two recent references

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Be willing to complete online training
