**Coventry**
**Our client design and manufacture specialised components and sub-systems for various markets including aerospace, defence, and oil & gas. They are looking for a Buyer to join their team to focus on Supplier Management and general operational/transactionalduties.**
**Buyer**
- Ensure purchase orders are placed in a timely manner and delivery schedules are adhered to
- Compliant to government laws, regulations, ITAR and procurement policies and procedures
- Support supplier relationships to maximise supply chain effectiveness
- Provide administrative support to Supply Chain Leads and Manager
- Ensure purchase orders are accurate to avoid invoice queries
- Ensure PIRs are kept up to date in line with latest supplier delivery lead times

**Buyer**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Proven experienced in a buying/purchasing function
- Confident working in manufacturing/engineering - ideally within a technical or bespoke product
- Experienced with supplier management and a focus on OTIF/OTD
- ERP experience
- Microsoft Office skills

**Buyer**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
- Aerospace or precision engineering experience
- SAP experience
- CIPS qualified
