MBA are working exclusively with a brand-new client within the Building Consultancy arena, looking for an experienced Building Surveyor. This is a remote role which will require regular travel between London and Cheshire. Due to continuing growth theyare looking for a someone who has good experience within the commercial and residential sector.
The client has grown strategically over the last few years and will continue to do so as they look to expand their service provision and client portfolio.
In return, the Building Surveyor can expect a salary up to £60,000, 25 days paid annual leave, Contributory Pension Scheme, Career Progression, Opportunity for Hybrid Working and support towards any relevant external qualifications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Site Surveys (such as Reinstatement, Cost, Condition and Defect Diagnosis/Analysis)
- Insurance Valuations
- Stakeholder management of clients and customers
- Contract Administration
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in the above
- Degree in Building Surveying
- Able to self-motivate and work as part of a team
- Excellent organisation skills
- Flexible in terms of travel
Though in no way essential, someone who has embarked on or achieved Chartered Status (RICS/CIOB) will be at a significant advantage.
