Head of Planning, Forecasting and Reporting

You are an experienced planning, forecasting and reporting professional and you can lead across a range of activities across the Finance function. You also have experience in leading across project delivery, finance business partnering, financial planning andanalysis work.
You are looking for a role where you can build successful relationships and promote excellent team working practices both externally and internally and at all levels of an organisation and can upskill the finance team to offer a true business partnered serviceto a wide range of high profile stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
The role will be varied and will not be restricted to fixed responsibilities. Areas of work which the role could undertake include the following:
- Supporting the growth of the forecasting capability, leveraging the benefits of a new planning tool and delivering a more efficient process to create greater opportunities to focus on providing value adding insight and analysis.
- Working closely with the Director of Finance, Head of Management Accounting and Departmental finance leads, you will lead and develop a small central team.
- You will be able to work through detailed issues and analysis, but also operate effectively at a senior level and you will also develop strong relations with departmental teams, which will be key to delivering well managed and successful planning and forecastingprocesses for the wider organisation.
What you'll need to offer:
As an experienced financial planning, forecasting and reporting professional you would bring extensive experience of leading, managing and developing teams across accounting, budget preparation, forecasting, offering high quality finance business partneringsupport to business units including senior stakeholders engagement.
You will be promoting and building successful relationships both externally and internally at all levels.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA ) with substantial financial planning, forecasting, reporting and staff management experience within a similar complex organisation.

- A salary of c£65,000 - 75,000 depending upon experience
