**Position Overview**

To deliver first rate coaching through our successful group programme in North Wales, Llandudno.

**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced coaching and mentoring coach to deliver coaching in Llandudno on our lone-parent 2-week course programme. The programme is designed for lone parents and supporting them with money management, budgeting, cost of living support and to prepare them for employment.

The purpose of this role is to deliver Motiv-8sw programmes to achieve positive outcomes for people and move them closer towards employment and support in helping individuals overcome their personal barriers and challenges.

The coach will need to hold a valid driving licence and have their own car as may be tasked to deliver in various locations around Llandudno. The role will be for a minimum of 1 month.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deliver through the medium of Welsh and English languages small group sessions that support career planning and the development of the skills, attitude and behaviours required by employers.
- Support customers in the development of their employment journey and support individuals in establishing and achieving their progression aims.
- Knowledge and understanding around budgeting, money-management, and debt control/advice.
- Knowledge on local childcare funding opportunities and employment based around school hours.
- Ability to enhance and re-write vital into work documents such as CV, Cover Letters and Disclosure Letters.
- Liaise regularly with Programme Manager to ensure all customers are fully engaged and supported to succeed in all aspects of the course.
- Liaise with employers and support customers to secure work experience/ employment and coach and facilitate the development of a growth mind-set.
- Take responsibility for recording and tracking customer performance including punctuality, attendance, and completion of work.
- Implement strategies and support customers in self-esteem and confidence building activities including working on developing a growth mind-set model that enables the realisation of ambitious goals.
- Co-create agreed action plans and negotiate targets with customers, reviewing and adjusting regularly.
- Prepare and deliver a wide variety of engagement.
- Prepare reports that will feed into data analysis identifying destination outcomes for customers.
- Treat all data and personal information in the strictest confidence.

**Qualifications and Certification Required**:

- PTTLS/ Level 3 award in teaching or higher.
- A1 assessor or Higher Qualification.
- ILM or CMI Coaching qualifications L3 and above.
- First Aid and H&S Instructor, not essential but more work opportunities.

**Essential**:

- Fluent in Welsh and English Languages.
- Driving licence and access to car.
- Strong digital skills / IT abilities.
- Experienced employability coach.
- Experience working with common mental health barriers.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
