**Main Purpose of Role**

To co-ordinate new product introduction technical activities on a project by project basis. Responsible for tracking the technical status of all current NPI jobs. Capable of understanding each of the day to day activities of the departments to ensure theNPI technical aspects are completed in an effective manner within designated time frames.

**Outcomes of Role**
- Review customer data to support the RFQ process
- The coordination and running of technical review meetings
- On time delivery of accurate quote information.
- Continuous improvement of the NPI process
- Improved communication with customers, internal communication and understanding of customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Review customer data and communicate information relevant to the product to the NPI team.
- Generate process timings from customer information and complete the request for quote form held by the Business development group.
- Provide information for the generation and upkeep of the NPI form pack for each new product introduced.
- To coordinate the technical assistance and arrange technical review meetings in line with the NPI plan. Also, take minutes during the meetings.
- Ensure all actions are closed and build release is in line with the NPI plan
- Generate and coordinate the NPI review and close out activities.
- Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Any other duties deemed necessary.

**Skills
(include professional or educational qualifications required)**
- New product introduction
- ONC/HNC in electronic/engineering discipline
- Chairing cross functional meetings producing reports including actions lists with target dates.

**Knowledge
- Relevant experience in contract electronics manufacturing environment
- Fast paced electronics manufacturing background
- Electronic component experience
- Gerber data understanding
- Bill of materials understanding
- Process timing / Quote generation
- Project planning and management

**Remuneration Package
Salary £25k - Negotiable depending on experience
