This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nanny to help alongside a busy father of 2 girls aged 6 and 8. The family live in a beautiful large home, with extensive gardens 2 miles outside of York. The family are looking for someone super flexible who is happy to stay over every other weekend, where you will be on call during the nights. The children are sound sleepers. You will be provided with your own large 4-poster ensuite guest room.
Your role will include general care of the children, cooking them simple meals, some laundry and light tidying. The family employs a housekeeper so no deep cleaning with be required. Occasionally you will be needed to drive the girls to and from school and other activities.
Ideally you will be enthusiastic about helping the girls with arts and crafts, painting, and fun outdoor games. Childcare qualifications are beneficial; however, you must be willing to go through allergy and asthma training and to ensure your feel confident to manage anaphylaxis.

Minimum experience Level for this job: 4 years as a nanny
Details of any training needed for this job: Childcare qualifications desirable. You will be required to take an allergy and asthma course, which will be paid for.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: DBS and Pediatric First Aid course
Hours of work: 52 hours per week (half are evenings and nights where you are usually on call)
Days required: Every other Monday, Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Every other weekend from Friday
- Sunday.
Pets in the home: Two Dogs that Live outside.
Driving required: Yes, a car will be provided to use on duty.
Job Start Date: March
Pay: £35,000.00 Gross Per Annum
This is a permanent role.
