A well established multidisciplinary Construction and Property Consultancy are seeking a Head of Sustainability to lead their ever expanding team based in South East London.

The successful Head of Sustainability will join a medium sized consultancy that has multiple offices across the UK. This consultancy is committed to making a significant impact in Sustainability and the environment.

The role of the Head of Sustainability

The newly appointed Head of Sustainability will help drive the delivery of projects and provide support as part of a multi skilled team.

They will
- Lead, grow and develop the Environmental and Energy Assessment service
- Offer strategic client advice, strategy development and training.
- SBEM Assessments and Commercial Energy Performance Certificates
- Understanding of SAP
- Prepare and approve final results and issue for inclusion in Energy Strategies.
- Energy surveys on existing buildings.
- Client liaison and meetings
- Provide technical and practical advice to project design team members.

The successful Head of Sustainability should ideally be:

- Degree qualified in a suitable scientific or engineering discipline
- Non-residential Low Carbon Energy Assessor certified to issue EPC levels 3, 4, and 5
- Member of CIBSE/IEMA/EI or working towards membership
- Experienced in leading and supporting small teams to achieve their potential
