We are looking for a **Service Support Manager**to join us on a **12 Month Fixed term basis** based in our office in Cheadle.

The key task of the Support Services Manager is to help maintain, develop and proactively manage the business location, building and its grounds.

**Job Description** Key Responsibilities:

- Management of the day to day outsourced cleaning and catering contracts ensuing that key performance indicators and service levels are in place, communicated and ensure compliance.
- To maintain the departments helpdesk systems, making improvements when necessary and correcting any faults that may be highlighted to maintain / improve the efficiency of the department
- Develop, implement and manage the waste management that affect the Group’s building to maximize energy efficient and recycling initiatives in support of our environmental programme
- Develop processes, procedures and SLAs to proactively manage building support services within strict cost controls whilst maintaining excellent customer service
- To develop and manage specific department change projects as required preparing for operational readiness and leading change from the customers perspective.
- Communicate to the business all building issues and improvement plans so that they are kept up to date and can provide feedback where necessary
- Attend tenant meetings and highlight necessary changes to the business which may impact the business park or require their support
- Conduct building risk assessments, produce and provide relevant MI and health & safety plans to ensure the building and its grounds remain Health and Safety compliant with legal and statutory requirements
- To provide support to the HOD for the operational effectiveness of the department and its responsibilities.
- To ensure that department risks are regularly reviewed, monitored and reported against so that action can be taken.

Managing People:

- Driving and managing performance through coaching, support and strategic goals
- Managing the colleagues through the colleague life cycle of employment:

- Training and mentoring
- Role model and set standards aligned to the company

**Qualifications** Essential:

- Facilities Management experience within a Management role
- Relevant H&S experience and/or qualification
- Experience with CAFM (TOPdesk)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Supplier & contractor management experience
- Soft services management experience
- Strong PC Skills (MS Word and MS Excel)
- Flexibility to assist with out of hours work and events when required
- Driving licence
