Would you like to be a vital part of Bolton’s Children’s Services?

We are seeking to appoint a ward clerk, who play an integral role in the service delivery within E5 & F5 Children & Young People’s Unit. The post holder should have excellent communication skills, be able to provide good customer service and be able to undertake administrative duties.

The post consists predominantly of providing care & assistance to children and their families. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake clerical duties and general administrative work to ensure a quality service is maintained. Experience with IT systems is essential.

This post will involve working unsocial hours including evenings and weekends

Main responsibilities include updating IT systems, handling health records in the department, welcoming children and their families onto the unit as well as performing general administrative duties such as updating local spreadsheets and checklists.
