**Maintenance Services are looking for an experienced people manager in the role of Maintenance Supervisor, focusing on Voids delivery and managing a DLO team. The role reports directly to our Maintenance Manager for the Thames Neighbourhood and forms part of an experienced supervisory team. The Thames area covers Bexley and Greenwich and reaches out across Kent and Medway Towns.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of repairs, pre-inspections, post inspections and WIP all in line with the standard and KPIs.

You should be confident to give advice to operatives and contractors on complexed jobs and hard fixes and will be responsible for interacting and engaging with managers, stakeholders from other areas of the business. You will liaise with the Neighbourhood and caretaking teams as well as contact centre and other supervisors to ensure consistency in service delivery.

You will be confident in managing contractors and operatives, meeting regularly with the commercial team and reporting any relevant information on performance to them.

We expect our Supervisors to have a good understanding of Health and Safety including knowledge of Asbestos, Fire and Hygiene and for them to pass this knowledge on to their teams. Dealing quickly with any breaches or potential problems before they happen.
