I am working with an established, and growing, UK-based Insurance company to offer a permanent contract, seeking an Enterprise Risk Manger (ERM) that will sit within the Risk Team, supporting the Head of ERM directly. The Role My client is looking foran ERM for a permanent contract, based in London with a hybrid working environment, for a role to start by the end of the year - to provide support to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management on the current and future risks relating to the companies currenttrajectory based on stated Risk Strategy and Appetite. The Team You will work within a small team, reporting to and assisting directly, the Head of Enterprise Risk Management. The company puts a focus on personal progress and development, as such, they areseeking an individual who strives for personal success. The Duties The duties of this role may include: Monitoring of reputational and Strategic risks. General oversight work, providing assistance to the Head of ERM through periodic deep dive reviews Supportingthe Head ofERM in: Validating key business plans Maintaining the ORSA Process Preparing and reviewing scenarios for stress and sensitivity testing Setting the company's risk strategy, appetite, and limits to reflect stated appetites, and; Coordinating theenterprise risk management framework The Ideal Candidate My candidate is seeking an individual that has experience within strategic teams and risk frameworks, and has experience working within financial services - specifically insurance. My client will prioritisea candidate who is confident in their ability to present to key stakeholders and is autonomous in their work. Furthermore, there is the essential criteria of knowledge on legal regulatory and industry requirements, and knowledge of business processes, standards,policies, and procedures. Additionally, the presence of an advanced qualification (i.e. FIA, CFA, CAIA, ACA, or similar) would bolster an application.
