Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for **Van Driver 3.5t (TEMP WORK)** for our companies within UB postcode areas (Uxbridge / Greenford / Southall / Hayes / West Drayton etc)

**PAYE between £12.00 and £15.35 per hour (including holiday pay)**

**Type of shifts (depending on company)**:

- Multi drop deliveries in and around M25 (up to 20-30 drops only) - B2B deliveries
- Car and Van (incl. Sprinter/Luton) Deliveries
- Delivering catering equipment, printers, electrical supplies, piping, flooring etc
- Builders merchants - tool hire equipment
- Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
- Start times can vary between 5:30 and 8am

**Duties**:

- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

**Rates of pay**:

- We pay for a minimum of 8 hours a day (breaks are not paid)
- Overtime is paid after 9 hours
- PAYE between £12.00 and £15.35 per hour (including holiday pay)

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
- At least 1-year experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred (references required)
- Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
