A fantastic opportunity has been made available to join Santander as a Software Engineering Analyst. Our Finance team is moving to innovative data solutions to support the business with a 360-degree view of our organisation.
Finance is the backbone function of the organisation supporting all aspects related to the bank's financial activity from self-funding, meeting regulatory commitments, defining the rates for our products, capital calculations and many more. We are implementingmore sophisticated ways to not only observe how our organisation works, but also predict its behaviour with a focus on our customers' behaviour.
**The difference you'll make.**:

- Transitioning towards an event-driven architecture
- Aiming to practice Test Driven Development with the goal of having sufficient confidence in our test coverage to enable direct and continuous delivery of our software into production
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our team, both through teaching and through learning

**What you'll bring.**:

- A senior software engineer who takes pride in their craftsmanship and in the results that they deliver
- Proven experience as an PL/SQL developer, and extensive experience in Oracle database procedures

**It would also be nice for you to have**:

- A self-motivated team player with the communication and collaboration skills to keep our team productive and fun.
- Experience with continuous delivery practices
- Control-M and Mainframe experience
- JCL experience

**What else you need to know.**
This is a permanent position and is currently office based/Home based, with attendance at the Milton Keynes office 3 days per week (Tues / Weds / Fri).
