24-7 Language Services is an interpretation & translation agency providing high quality services to Solicitors firms and companies nationwide. We are looking for experienced translators wanting to join our panel to work on a free-lance basis. We provideassistance to solicitors and other clients in need of legal translations. Should you join our team, please note that you must hold interpreting/translation qualifications, as well as previous experience in translation.

**Language required: Czech**
**Main Duties**: Legal Translations

**Type of vacancy**: Freelance/Casual
**Rates**: Competitive and dependant on experience/qualifications
Translators will be required to:

- Read the text thoroughly and understanding the context of given material
- Have a good knowledge of content editing tool
- Convert written text in one language to another
- Ensure translated text conveys original meaning, format and tone
- Have a keen eye for detail and proofread translated text for accuracy
- Be able to work towards timeframes and deadlines
- Be able to provide an accurate, confidential and impartial service
- Be eligible for self-employment in the UK
- Provide a current valid DBS clearance
- Provide two references related to previous experiences in translation
- Be qualified under Legal Aid Agency guidelines

**Qualifications accepted**:
Translation/Linguistics related degree

Translation/Linguistics related diploma

AIT - Asylum and Immigration Tribunal

Basic Interpreting Qualification (Level 1)

Community Interpreting Levels 2, 3 and 4

Diploma in Police Interpreting

Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law, Health, Local Government)

Immigration Nationality Directorate

UK Boarder Agency Certificate

Language related degree

Language related diploma
